JS 1400 and TWISTER MPX

Dear Sir.
I am very disappointed
I have a Multiplex TWISTER with setup listed below:
JS 1400
Het FAN
Hextronic 80A ESC

I have been trying different LiPo packs from ZIPPy to Thunder Power 4S from 20C to 40C. Almost 2650 to 3000mAh.

Every flight is the same problem. Battery becomes EXTREMALY HOT and PUFF.
Almost explode!!
What´s happening?
I am not using full trottle!
After 4 or 5 minutes I must lang. If not, my LiPo pack can explode.
My Jet Screammer 1400 is powerfull, I know. But what I am supposing to do that is wrong?
Must I change the timming?
My 80A ESC is not enough to handle this motor?
Must I try a A123 packs and not LiPo packs?
Any Help please?

lower your timing (ESC)might help the amp draw, from what i heard I would use a larger pack, those motors are Hungry like mad

The problem I see here is the battery is WAAAAY to small in terms of C rating, these motors pull about 100+ amps in a 70MM fan and the battery you have (the 3000mah) is only good for about 60amps. 3000mah X 20C = 60amps continous and only 120amps burst and their burst rating is only for a quick burst of split seconds etc. You are trying to pull about twice the amps that your pack is able to do therefore you are puffing it and swelling it. These motors need a 125amp esc and a battery around something like a 4000 30C pack which is 4000mah X 30C = 120amps continous. SO that is your problem and that's why your pack is getting extremely hot. And espicially when you try to run even the smaller 2650 lipo, that pack is only good for 2650 X 20C = 53 amps continous and once again you are trying to pull about 100 amps thru a 53 amp battery, GO DO THE MATH

Most EDF JETS with a high powered motor such as the JS1400, the ARC or the HOFFMAN wild Beast or HOFFMAN Beast need a battery pack of at least 30C or more and of at least a 3000mah size because once again 3000mah X 30C = 90amps continous.
