Scientists discover soft tissue in T-rex bone

http://www.calacademy.org/science_no...ft_tissue.html
This is pretty impressive. There have been reports of this in the past, but lots of scientists didn't take them seriously.

Why is it that every thread become political in nature.

This is a great scientific find, but some here find it necessary to make it a political issue???

Shame!!!!

How does a Kleenex find its way into a dinosaur bone, anyway?

wasn't it a rock group?
Anyway, if the story is true, there'll be some evolution questions answered.

I'd like to hear a rebuttal by an Intelligent Design proponent.

I wonder how they'll spin this. Probably just deny it outright.

Not being picky but, thus far, what is it that they would have to deny or rebutt?

The presence of soft tissue within the fossilised bone doesn't really say anything, so far, regarding the origin of that tissue and whether it provides any evidence with regard to origins or evolution. Yes, it's interesting that it shares features of the blood vessels with modern avian bone structures, but that has yet to be fully worked up and described, by the sound of it.

Jesus horses (dinosaurs) can't be 70 million years old.
See, the soft tissue proves it must be younger than 6,000 years old.

It remains to be seen if enough of the DNA remains viable to allow PCR and sequencing.

Me personally, I'd rather have a Triceritops.
