2.4 and 1.28

My friend wants to fly LOS while I fly FPV. I am on UHF rc link and 1.28 vtx (1500 mw). He is on spektrum 2.4 ghz. Regardless of input from here we will still range check but does anybody have any experience with this? Will my vtx diminish the quality of his RC link at distances of 200-300 meters? I am unfiltered too by the way... We plan on flying somewhat close - say within 15 feet...

Power on your video tx first. After your friend will power on his 2.4 radio, the spektrum radio will choose two unoccupied channels. I don`t think you will have interference

Sorry, I described how to range check, and you clearly said you would do that. Don't know what's wrong with me tonight. I'm not posting again until tomorrow....
