Slow stick (slow flyer) Bi-plane

Hi all.

I am thinking about getting a Bi-plane. I would like to get a slow flyer that can still do some things, like loops, inverted, etc.

Any suggestions/ideas would be helpful. If there is something here already addressing this question, please point me in the right I direction.

Thank you!

Charles

The SlowStick is a undercambered wing and it very difficult to keep inverted.

I have several Bipe's and my slower ones are parkflyer sized EPP Bipe's with light motor set-ups.
The light wing loading allows them to slow down real nice and if built real light, they still have lots of power and pure vertical.

I'm collecting parts for a 45" EPP Bipe that is only about 20-25ozs, so it should be a real nice slowflyer.

Anyone fly the "ultimate" bi-p? I have been flying it on my Phoenix sim while checking some bi-p's, and really like it. But I know that the sim is one thing.

You should have a look at the Twisted Hobby crack Pitts bipe. It will fly as slow as you want, does inverted with little or no stick input and will do anything you want. Check it out at http://www.twistedhobbys.com/TH-30-E...-Pitts-M12.htm

That bird is awesome! I might be sold on that one. I also like the Ultimate. Hmm! Price does help me so I am leaning more towards the Twisted Hobby crack Pitts bipe! lol.

Get a GWS Tiger Moth TM400 or the foamie Pitts from Hobbyking (or Sapac or Art Tech). The TM400 is very relaxing but still capable of inverted flight and pretty much any aerobatics including knife-edge if you set high rates. The Pitts is much more responsive but can be toned-down on low rates.
