hobbypartz.com has cooling jackets in stock most of the time too. You'll pay double shipping, but you might also find an ESC that suits your needs from them as well.

Thanks Terry. I'll have to come up with some funny action figure heads to mount on the bodies... I was thinking smurfs.

I think most of the guys are framing the square hole in the top with adhesive foam strips, and then using either the stock canopy or a cut piece of plexi to seal with the foam strips. If you do the stock canopy method you need to seal the holes where the fake exhaust pipes are. I think the more waterproof method is the plexi glass, but I'm sure the canopy works fine. Even if you do the plexi, you can still mount the driver canopy on over top.

There are all kinds of examples of the canopy sealing solutions on the RCU thread.

I'm going with the plexi glass method.

I haven't added anything for waterproofing other than sealing the heads and exhaust pipes, (my electronics are more or less waterproof) I just put the stock lid on as tight as I can with the clips. It gets some water in it, but not enough to sink it if it's only upside-down for a few mins. Then you just pull the antenna tube out and drain the water out thru that hole. I also managed to fit 2 of those air-filled plastic packing pillows in the nose in case it really tries to sink. They also keep the battery from launching forward off the velcro if you hit something.

I am considering the adhesive foam/plexi method though, so I spend less time pouring water out and more time on the water.

You can use the graupner one, but you have to drill out the drive housing to fit the larger shaft, and get a bigger diameter bushing for the stator.
