Love the short moment arm on this thing, makes a plane more agile and often more robust.
If it is about the same price as the Extra 260, this is a must have for me.
Look forward to seeing demo video.

Like the look of this one,But i have enough 3D planes for now, would be intrested though to see others view on this and what they think of it.
I would like to find out the price for the airframe actually if any of you have any idea let me know,It would be also intresting to price the speccing out parts to see the total cost,If it was reasonable then count me in,would have to check price though first.

That opening maneuver, the flat inverted tight spin proves my point about the short moment arm. That's the first E-Flight video i have seen with clean rollers (fuselage not wangling), i don't know if that's because of the new plane or a new Pilot?
Surprised they never showed KE, i think it's going to be a stunner at this with it's chunky and short fus (gives the fus a rearward cg - when in KE).
Hope to beat Dan at a video of this

Sorry for a double post,Firstly the video looks great, plane looks beautiful, but something that strikes me as odd is the reccomended power system for a balsa plane of this size is 3cell power 1800-2200mah size pack!?
For a plane of this weight and size,3cell strikes me as a little underpowered, all though it looks to fly great in the video.
I would have to see what it looks like pulling straight up out of a hover to be honest,I wouldn't feel save flying this plane on 3cell packs.
My parkzone visionaire was just about ok on 3cell power and that's a much lighter plane!
This looks to me like a hardcore 3D airframe, guys are going to push this hard, after 3-4 hard minutes flying 3D on 3cell power is it enough? what are the flight times like?
Need more info to be honest...... the video just doesn't show me the planes vertical performance, even though i am very intrested in the plane and love the looks i don't know how it's going to manage on 3cell power.

I think it's powered perfect. It's aimed directly at the 42" Slick from 3D HobbyShop which suggest a 3s of similar size. I've had the 3DHS Slick and it's a great plane and has been one of if not their best seller for the past few years. I just wonder who would rather pick this up over theirs that has a massive following and has a reputation for being incredibly tough. At fun flys they challenge people to try to break it (in the air).

Surprised they never showed KE.... QUOTE]
1:25 of the video the pilot does a nice low knife edge pass. Not high alpha but it still looked nice.

Well on the parkzone visionaire on 3cell i had my timer set at 5mins flight times flying hard 3D,was many times that i ran out of juice just over the 4minute mark, lipos can be tempremental as we all know, and had to pretty much dead stick it in,would be intrested to hear the flight times on this,I would be doing anything balistic in the first 2 minutes and general flight after that.
To be very honest the Visionaire was a foam plane and it wasn't the most powerful to pull out of a hover, this plane has the same running gear, again not cutting it just been realistic,I could be wrong in my observations, the plane could be lighter than the visionaire! lol
In a nutshell, just my opinion of course,I love the look of it,but i would have to see/read some user reviews on it before
pulling out the wallet.

I would put a power 10 in it instead of the park 480. Then put a 2500 4 cell in it and see if I could rip the wings off of it.

Would love to see you flying it,no i would have to wait now to hear some reviews on this one, sorry for any negativity but i couldn't risk it given the tempremental flight times i used have on 3cell 3D flights with airframes this size.
I suppose there is nothing stopping one from using a light 4cell set up.... would that make it a little heavy??

The Visionaire weighs about 10oz more than the 3dhs and e-flight slicks
I would say watch some of the many vids on YouTube in the 3DHS and see if you like the 3s setup. Many have done 4s and some have even gone 5s. On 3s mine had plenty of power to pull out.
I do like the looks if the E-flite Slick better than the AJ though.
