Expertise?

Not so much--any apprentice seamstress would have known just by noticing the stitching on all the seams was pointed out rather than in.

Now on to that rib stitching thing over here onna bench..........

Sam, is that black & white float plane an LT40, or 25?

Hi David,

Long time no see!

It's my LT40 I "put together" in my dad's memory, hence the "C-MJAY"

For “Clarence Michael Jay"

I added a cowl from "fibreglass specialists" and Hangar 9 40 size Floats...

And a little trim work with the gold pin striping...

Sam

Thanks. I have a well travelled LT25 on it's 3rd reinvention with a older well used Hacker A50 10s which was lurking in the spares box. The pics made me wonder again about floats..... & maybe recovering etc. It recently was used for experiments with ET guardian & lights.

Thanks Brian. It looks like a more select gathering than previous years but at least you seem to have enjoyed yourselves as usual.

That's pretty much it. The field was a bit daunting for some - there's onboard footage in the video of the approach which was challenging for faster models. However, it was still a very good time.

Here's a bit of footage that I had forgotten about - some onboard video from my CL-415.
