Ok let me try this again

I'm a total UHF NOOB and I'm looking for something I can use on my jr9503x will range link work just plugging into the trainer port on the back without having to mod the radio?

Anyone else using range link with jr 9503x?

All comments appreciated

Thanks in advance

Trinity Head Tracker and 2.1 Firmware

Has anybody got the trinity head tracker to work with the new firmware?
Was working fine until I loaded the 2.1 firmware.

I assume I need to do this through the JFPV program but I can't seem to get the tx to talk to the program.

I have Ground to Ground, TX to RX, and RX to TX from the USB2TTL to the TX - I push the read tab in the JFPV program and I get no communication between the two...

Any help would be appreciated.

After uploaded the v2.1 fw ,you need to rebind them.

---
1. connect the usb2ttl to tx;
2. make tx on high power mode and power on tx with hold down the tx button until the second beep,(i will take about 10s).

I was able to go into the Tx and change channels 7&8 to tppm with your instructions.

But I still have no luck getting head tracker to work. Is there anything on the Rx side that needs to be changed? Do I leave it cppm or change it to none?
Maybe the tx lost the TPPM SIGNAL? poor connection?
try feed the head tracker ppm signal to RC PORT ppm signal input...if TX fast blink that shows the signal is good. and the n make sure the which channels is for (pan / tile / roll).

PPM SIGNAL 1 (rc radio cppm channels) can be override by PPM SIGNAL 2(TPPM HEAD TRACKER INPUT) This setting can be ON/OFF by short press the tx button.

Does this mean that all TX/RX flashed on firmware V2 can pause the headtracker when short pressing the TX button?

No, Not pause ,,,,will output all channels as PPM 1 input... if you want that feature, you can turn off the PPM 2(tppm) signal input.(like turn off head tracker power, or remove the cable .)

Thanks Daemon - that is what i've tried (note its fw version 1.25 in that file - not 1.24). But in anycase when i go to check connection in the flashing program, i've verified that i can read the firmware (currently have 2.10 loaded). However, when i go to roll back to 1.25, i get a "no device found" message... stumped!

Hey folks,

Can someone tell me if the JR DSX9 is plug and play compatible with the RangeLink? I'm currently using my Spektrum DX8 but prefer the JR and want to use that instead.

Cheers,

TS.
