Need a new Nose Wheel Strut for my Cessna .. Help !!
I am building a 55" Cessna 182, but on my other Cessna (Same model as the one i'm building), the Nose wheel strut is very weak and bends on the lightest landings.
Could anyone recommend me a strong wheel strut that can cope with some hard landings ?
It doesn't need to look scale, because i will probably 'scale it up' anyway.
I have drawn up the measurements that the new wheel needs to be (or close too).
It would be good if the strut had a coil in it so it can absorb the hard landings better(but remember it will have to have the right length above the coil). The strut slots into a collar shaft and is tightened with grub screws .. Anyone, you can see it in the pics.
Thanks in advance.
P.S, I was thinking about the Nose Wheel strut on the Art Tech Wing Tiger, can anyone recommend this ??
