Yes, very easy to use. It activates with water moisture either from the air or you can wet the parts you are gluing to speed up the process. Also, it does expand so it is important to use it sparingly. Unless you have some gaps to fill.

+1 on the Gorilla Glue. Since it expands, I often glue the parts together, then tape over the "joint" with bi-directional (packing) tape to both limit the expansion and further strengthen the joint. Then, I can easily paint over the tape so that the joint's more-or-less invisible. One thing I know is that it will never break there again--just somewhere else!

wow finally I had a wonderful flight with this plane. cg is perfect(I think lol) after glueing the front back on (bought a new cowl) went for take-off plane came up nice was flying straight and level with just a couple of clicks of down trim. I do need to change out motor. it flies alright just not very fast(due to my elevation 5500feet). but a very nice flying plane . glenn

I love that look. I wish I could send you one to paint for me lol. today I did an engine replacement...... went from that slow 500kv to a 4240/620 sk3 stock was 24 amps and a meager 380watts.now a good 40 amps and 540 watts much better lol. hopefully will try it out in the skies if wind ever get s better. glenn for any of you wondering it bolts right on no mods at all.....

Thanks! They are easy to paint I just used a couple small brushes to paint it and some paint samples from Home Depot. That's all it takes.

I think you will see a nice improvement with that motor, just from looking at your watt meter readings

Maidened my FW190

Must say this is one great flying plane. Maidened it in 10 - 12 mph winds. Didn't need one click of trim.
First landing was perfect, into the wind, so the ground speed was slow. The second landing was not as smooth and bent the landing gear. What have others done about the weak landing gear wire? The retracts themselves are okay (not great), but the landing gear wire is barely adequate. Has anyone drilled out the retract to use a bigger, stronger wire? or sourced a stronger wire from somewhere?

Great to hear I was going to replace the wires at one point early on, but after I got used to the plane landing wise, I haven't bent them in quite a while. I actually bought a spare set of landing gear legs after bending the stock ones several times. But, then of course, I stopped bending them
