Place cap strip over leading edge and top of Fin and sand both the fin and rudder.

Sand Aileron stock as shown to create your Elevons.

Prior to covering, go ahead and mark and cut your fin slots.

I have obtained a 90 EDF motor, 6S Lipo, and 80amp ESC. I'm gonna see if I can make this Angel pop!

These are two videos shot at the same time of the sport version using a 2820-50 on our prototype. http://www.youtube.com/user/teamstevensusa

Whatcha think?

Awesome!

Great job! What sort of thrust to weight ratio do you get on 3s and 4s? In other words, how's the straight-up vertical performance on the setups you've tried? Were these setups with the Grayson motor? A couple of kits are going to be headed my way, but not 'till the chickens are thriving and the veggie beds planted. This Angel is testing my self-control, alright. Well, yes, Lucifer...

1. I don't have anything to measure Thrust to wieght ratios.

2. We've tried a few combos, and each of us like something different, but all of them climb str8 up.

3. Yes, we've used combos from Grayson Hobbies. They have a 2820-05 1250kv motor that is what we recommend as a good overall sport combo. That motor with a 60amp esc can run iether 3S or 4S with a simple matter of a prop and battery change. They also have a Monster Jet 2200kv motor that works well on 4S with a 70 amp ESC.

SCREW - So, have you decided to market this plane? Any idea of a price range (for just supplies to build the plane / no covering)?
I think it flew very well and ate-up alot of sky!! If it's priced right I might be interested.

Keep up the good work!!

I'm kinda marketing it here and on RCU a little. The response has been great and I've sold a few. Thanks everyone.

We are just a 3 man show working out of a small shop. We are still working on a set of instructions, but if you can follow this build thread, I've got kits ready to ship for $79 plus shipping.

The kits come with all laser cut ply, all balsa, carbon, and hardware needed to complete. It even comes with 2 Team Stevens logos

Send me a PM if you are interested.
