Nope, did not make one tiny effing bit of difference.
Took gyro completely out of it's metal case remounted on heli as just a circuit board
Paid special attention to mount it a anti-vibration as possible..
It's an entirely different arrangement now and if vibrations were even an issue it would
be *different* now if not gone.
It behaves exactly 100% the same.

It's indeed a piece of total crap.
Abandoned by Ehirobo/CopterX
Thank you Ehirobo you have my $50 (-ER $34 after reseller wowhobbies.com's mark up) and 2.5 years of trying.
I'm pulling it and putting on a K-Bar.

I have a history of about 15 emails to ehirobo since I bought this product.
I have been nothing but professional with them since I bought it and asking for help.
I just recently reported back to them my results asked them some very pointed questions
about the product of which they have not answered at all.
I was given a 5% discount code on their store and asked to go away.
I asked them to send me a gyro that worked and I'd put in a good word here if it indeed worked.

They immediately "turned on me" told me it had been too long and said they can't do that.

I reminded them they didn't answer any of my questions about the gyro including questions like "is it still supported" how long will it be around? etc.
No response.
They replied with "why don't you return it to WOW Hobbies".

I sent a reply (professional) explaining they seem to be totally missing the point of my email.

They blocked me.
I can no longer email them.
The messages bounce back undeliverable from their email provider.

These guys suck!

You can bet I will forever speak nothing but badly of this company and how they (mis)handled this product and the people who paid for it.

The best to fix this gyro is first remove it from the helicopter , next place on a firm hard surface , lastly strike gyro with a overhand swing with a 2 pound mini sledge , then throw pieces in trash , never look back .

I went round and round with this gyro , nothing but problems , every one telling me my helicopter not set up right , this way or that . Finally put a robird g31 on and it has been flawless ever since .

Don't Bother with Ky-Model either. They never answer emails. Customer support is nil, and handled by their resellers: eHirobo, Besthobbysite (same company), RC711, oomodel, etc...

I lost count at around 20 emails directly to Ky-Model regarding this unit, and some of their helicopters that are basically made out of scrap aluminum and play-Doh.

Ky-Model hasn't updated their website since 2012, and it still looks like a site from 2002.

I have seen a handful at best of success stories with this unit, and frankly even those had a few problems here and there.

Honestly, it almost had some potential, but that ball was dropped, run over by a tank, set on fire and urinated upon to put out the flames.

I have personally watched this gyro rip a heli apart 37 seconds into a maiden flight that started off smooth. For no other reason than it decided to wig out completely. Yes, I blame the gyro! I put a Robird on the rebuilt version, after a second try with the CX-3X200, and the Robird outperformed it with default settings and a swash that wasn't totally level...

eHirobo doesn't even come on this thread anymore. That in itself speaks volumes. They are too busy selling multirotors Walkera Radio equipment, FPV gear and gimbal mounts now.

Hey, guess what? I no longer own any CopterX 3x2000 paperweights!

Spartan RC is having a trade-in special right now where you send them your old Flybarless gyro or even a flybar tail gyro, and you get 33% off a VX13e.

Take a guess where the CopterX went?

Mine is off the airframe and in the trash finally.
I gave it a long honest effort.
K_bar will replace it on that airframe.
I'm flying BeastX (AR7200BX) on two other airframes.
And I have a Tarot ZYX-S to play with and actually enjoy tweaking and learning all about
the stuff knowing it won;t fly perfect out of the box, but it won't randomly lurch or try to kill itself on humid days or when the temperature is between 55F and 74F. outdoors.

I also have some 3GX (firmware 5 to play with) which I hear are horrible.
These people just don't know what "horrible" is until they try the 3x2000.
Even if the 3GX devices SUCK I'll probably be light years ahead with them from where I was
on the CopterX.

You could send it in to Vortex and get 33% off.

Yep! After Priority shipping my Vortex VX1e cost $127. I got about $50 discount for sending that heap in to trade for a really nice Gyro with built in satellite ports, and a a TON better performance.
