So after the big flying event here last weekend, I have drummed up some more local interest in the DS week. Should be a fantastic turnout! Most will probably just come to watch

Have the dates been set for this event yet

I need to book leave from work and a ferry crossing. Dave, Stefan, Gareth and I are keen to come down. Should be fun.

Asto is coming 3rd till the 20th of Dec

Auselectric is coming 6th-12th Dec

Joe Manor is coming for whole of Dec

No firm dates really set, but I have always called the "DS Week" the second week of Dec.

It is up to the individual to decide when to come. That way it will suit the individual better.

Flying will be happening all month of Dec.

In fact come anytime and I will take you up.

I will get hold of Joe Wurts and see if he is coming down.

My dad and I are coming the same dates as Auselectric too.

Not sure yet. There was some talk of Gareth having a place. It would be best if everyone could stay in the same place. More fun that way. Most of the local CHCH people probably don't want to listen to half pissed RC pilots harping on about how fast we got in the circuit and how much faster we would have got if the dam hill didn’t jump into the way and cause a most horrific crash

Asto had a place that was able to sleep 10 people???

Not sure if he wanted others though.

My father has offered accommo for two people at his place. I am about to give the other locals a shake up too

Our accommodation still unknown. The boss is in chch today looking at a flat for work. Hope it's all good- three bedrooms/dbl garage. So plenty of room if he goes ahead.
