From their web site:

"Castle, the leader in brushless technology for RC cars, is pleased to announce the release of our new Mamba Max Pro brushless ESC featuring SMARTSENSE operation. "

The Mamba Max Pro will run brushless (sensored,) brushless (sensorless,) AND brushed motors.

One ESC to rule them all.

No mention of brushed motors. Not that I need it, but still..
At least Tower lists it in the right section..

Awww Steve, don't talk about our Beta testing online! We don't want our competitors finding out about the "Elfin" technology!

Hi Andy,

That was an oversight on our part. All of our brushless car controllers have two "brushed" modes, high-power (forward only) and standard (forward/reverse.)

Thanx!

I got the MMPro last week.. Oh the possibilities! It's in a Rustler with a 4.5 Turn LRP X-11 motor.. Still finishing off a few other details before first launch...
