Must confess that it was me and Thomas, (The most experienced wing cutters in the club)
But the talk went on, and we was just fast enough to mount the templates, I think it was the 10 wing cut that evening.

cut out the templates from the tin. The templates are fixed on the surface.The upper template is mounted on the bolts. Cutting out the top - lift the top template and cut right to the bottom. It turns out quickly.

When cutting wing cores with templates, does the bottom of the tip template sit flat with the root template? Or does the tip sit mid hieght of the root?
I hope this makes sense.

Actually, the opposite: the top of the root and tip are even. So the wing is flat across the top surface and has a slight dihedral on the underside.
