Thanks, KIWINB. That's great.

What's the G-Force in the table?

G-Force is just the forum name of the person who made up the smaller sail sizes, as are the other names beside the sizes

I see. Thanks. KIWINB. The G-Force B sails seem closest to what I need. I guess the off the shelf Micro Magic ones are likely to be a bit too big, in that case.

I'm also consdering the stock ones for the ProBoat Westward 18, which is a smaller boat, but with sails with a foot that's closer to the size of mine. It's a gamble whether the material they're made from is any good though.

They only give measurements for the mail sail, and it's about an inch and a half shorter than mine, but the foot is close enough - shorter is better than too long because the boat has stays at both ends that stop me fitting bigger sails.

I took a chance and ordered the Housemartin B sails, for my B-Square (aka University Club Yacht). I figure I can extend the boom to maybe 9 inches, if I need to, without fouling the aft stay. The jib should be about right.

Thanks again for the information, KIWINB.

I would like to use a push rod for the rudder servo to tiller link. To prevent water from entering the hull I think I need some kind of bellow around the push rod. Perhaps something like this: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXD589&P=6 . What do you recommend? Does Hobbyking have something I could use (I am planning an order there anyway)?

tb47,

Try the word "boot" in their search box, or "push rod boot" (no quotes) to narrow it down a bit. I currently get four results for that one, or a little over 100 for just "boot":
