Instead of a Jet Screamer 4090?
Although I've been a modeler for 50 years, I'm new to EDFs.
I acquired a Blitz/Starmax F-4 recently (not the ready-to-fly version) and with it came a Jet Screamer MM 4090 motor...1400 for 90mm fans.
I'm a bit concerned because since I got it, I have read numerous posts relating that it runs too hot and burns things up.
I called Jet Screamer this morning and the gentleman I spoke with said nothing to alleviate my fears.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as to a better choice for the 90mm fan? And still be able to achieve high speed?
6 cell, 4000ma.
I have one that has not burnt up yet. But I didnt use it that much. I can tell one thing about it that I really like. I was suprise how long of a flight time I can get out of it with a 6s setup on a 4900 pack. If I'm correct its a good solid 5-6min easy. So a 3000mah would be really nice on this. O that was with a midi fan.
