Trying to decide what kind of power it can handle.
I have a Don's Wicked Plus 675w here and ordering a HK 10 blade 1000w now.
I have to decide which of these to put in the Phazer and my Neptune.
Leaning toward whichever is the heavier setup in the Neptune.

I've got one on the way too. I'll use the mercury 3700kv on 4S (assuming I can fit the battery).

First review is up on the kit version:

Quote:
Ok, quick unboxed review, will complete after maiden. This was bad, pretty bad. Big "what you pay is what you get" moment. Lot of damages in epo. The parts are really loose and bad fit. Will require a lot of glue (Not like MPX...). The two fuse halves are already glued together (why), I'll have to cut it open to fit my fan. Fan cover missing magnet. Canopy is the worst fit, a joke. Epo seems pretty dense thou. Horns and clevis crap as usual. Decals look ok but the ones for belly side are a bit "dim" (grey&soft yellow). i will not use them anyway. CF spars are 4mm thick wall tubes. Room for li-po is 120x40x60mm. Oh well, this will require some work, but that's what we like. Room for
I'm guessing the next word is improvement
Mine should arrive in the next few days. Unfortunately the fan is out of stock so who knows how long before I can give it a go. I might give in to temptation and drop in an old plastic 64mm fan I have lying around just to get it in the air. Oh well...
Cheers,

Ingo

Hehe, that was my quick review .
I can post pics if there is any specific part of this "bastard" you want to see.
@JunkersJ, the Mercury Fan will fit like a glove, the problem is getting it in and screw the two parts together. The fan looks and feels fantastic but surprisingly light and fragile. Will fire it up tomorrow.

They must have you on a black list or something Mine shipped five days after I placed the order. When Jodde reports on his maiden you'll be able to decide whether to cancel or not.

Glad to hear the fan will fit. Not surprised the fan is light and fragile, that's why I bought it! These are 160g compared with Extreme RC's modified CS in an alloy housing at 190g. Hopefully they have not gone too far in their weight reduction. Time will tell... I have a pair of older 64mm alloy fans; not sure if they're lander's or the older mercury, they are built like a brick house. Unfortunately they're just too heavy for the model I had them in. When I had to go round from an approach and then land with low (or dead, not sure) battery I ended up breaking the nose off the model. I didn't rebuild because I decided there was just too much weight for it to fly nicely with that fan.
Some photos of the battery/electronics compartments and underneath of it would be nice. Very much looking forward to the maiden report.
Cheers,

Ingo

I guess so, I placed my order on the 20th and it still shows "in print queue". I have them on chat now.

chat result: supposedly they have one reserved for me since I ordered when it was in stock, but for some reason my order did not print out, but they are suppose to be shipping out ASAP. Lets see what happens.

Can't decide if I'm going to glue it with UHU Por or foam safe CA? CA snaps when it breaks, UHU Por gives more flexy but ugly "dust magnet" joints.
