Playmobil 4215 glider e-conversion
Here is my kids' playmobil 4215 foam glider converted to rc. I could not find any other one on rcgroups and it flies so well I had to show it.
-CONTROLLER EASYTRONIC EM-06A
-NANO RECEIVER EM-410
-LIPO 450 MAH 2S 35C
-SERVOS TOWER PRO 5G SG51R
-MOTOR EM1306 - 2000KV
There was a bit of carving involved to keep the plane as good looking as possible, but the conversion was quite simple.
I wanted to make a pusher first but CG was an issue.
V-tail control. Snug fit removable wings.
The maiden was last sunday, a bit cloudy with strong winds. It flew right from the start. It flew almost backward in the facing wind but landed safely after all.
It weights 149 grams with the original playmobil pilot in the cockpit, of course.
So if you are tired of the Multiplex Fox, just try it. I am sure you will love it!

Very nice. I like how clean and tidy the conversion is; everything's really nicely hidden. Some foam glider conversions just have gear and wires hanging out everywhere... Excellent work on yours

It's not me flying, just another guy from the Netherlands.
The motor: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=5358
and I think he used a GWS 5030DD prop.
