+2 Crack Yak. I practice mine in my tree lined 100' x 150' front yard using 2s batteries to keep it light and floaty. Many times I screw up and splat it on the paved driveway, straighten out the prop, and toss it in the air again. Very durable. I can do this even in a +10 mph breeze when it is raining and night time with just the floodlights on. lol. You can get a ton of practice this way. In a larger area I prefer the power of 3s.

They are different airplanes. The Crack Yak has a high roll rate, pitch rate, and yaw rate. It's very wild and can tumble like a balsa plane and is great for practicing high energy flying. The Edge has more wing area and is more sedate. It's a bit easier to fly but will not fly quite as wild as the Yak.

Wish I had gotten the Yak instead of the Edge. Great plane, but not as "3D-ish" as the Yak.
