tiny Grunau Baby

Hi all,

I've been playing around and made a small hand-launch Grunau Baby. Span is about 50cm or 20".

I'm making some last updates for the final version; the parts have been cut and will form a glider real soon...

Are you going to stick radio gear in it? Most small foam profile gliders that I've seen are around 30" span before they're big enough for RC gear. The old RFFS 100 (hope I got the designation right) would fit this as would IR gear. I've still got a couple of units stashed someplace but I think I'd rather fly with the Spektrum micro gear even though it's bigger and heavier.

I'm planning something around 15% with full house UMX gear. Just have to get to Kinko's to have my drawings enlarged.

Check the last thread carefully since there are many drawings on page two.

That looks great Pete!

For now I will stick to the free flying ones, but going into the next indoor season, it might be a challange to pick up

thanks for the links...

BTW is anyone is eager to try to get this tiny Grunau Baby flying with RC, I'm happy to send the lasercut parts...
