Aww crap! Man that would really suck lol talk about a moral killer. BTW I'm testing out my gps again as we speak with no torroid on it and made sure that the wires were twisted right and that they were all attached properly. I'll post the results here shortly.

EDIT: Without the torroid the GPS locked on almost immediately, interesting...

this is just the funjet, just the ones I recorded, just the ones that looked different enough to make a video. And since I made this I could probably add 6 more lols
(although the bungy is making things easier!)

Yes, that will always be a solution that should work that I can fall back to.

I would like for it to be a bit more automated, but really, it's not necessary. Would just be fun is all...

I will do some experimenting when the time comes and see how I can get it to work the best.

Thanks for the input!

Good Evening,
Quick question: The barometer sensor - does it need to see open air or is it ok to put it in a enclosed box?

you do NOT want to have a lot of air flow over it. it measures the difference in pressure so by having air move over it, it will think the pressure is changing a lot. you want it in a box that can still change pressure but has no moving air over the sensor.

Ok, So it's fine to put it in a black box.. maybe with a hole on top, so the sensor can see through.. The box is going into the belly compartment of my FPV 168 .. it actually will see now airflow.. But I wonder if it's fine to have it burried into the plane ... The wing is going to be over it.

Nothing is really "air tight" anywhere in the fuse of your FPV168 "should" be fine. I would just set it up how you want and test it out. if you notice the altitude not reading correct the move its spot. just make sure its working as you want it BEFORE you flip that RTH switch

Another quick question: For the Audio - I have a stereo mic (2 CH L/R) - I can just use a Y-Cable to have basically all 3 Channels going to the TX, right? L/R from camera mic and one Audio Output from DOSD. Also the ground is the common ground between Camera and TX, right?

Alright: after checking out each component, I think I will go slow and mount the DOSD first on my old Super Cub which I know fly's extremely reliable before putting on my RQX-210 AKA FPV 168 :-)

So I can test each component before I go crazy :-)

Hello ,

If you look the plane like that :

Which one is servo aileron 1 and 2 on the dosd ?

If i do a servo test for the autopilot , which aileron must be up ? Elev must up too ?

If it's not correct , i reverse on the dosd , correct ?

Thanks

You assign which one you want to be servo one in the menu. A correct servo direction test should be a right hand bank with elevators up. So left elevator aileron down (from that view), right elevator aileron up.
