Help identify my plane
This is my first post so im sorry if im in the wrong section. I recently acquired my dads old trainer. Its was his first plane so it has a special place with me. The problem is my dad is getting old and cant remember what the name of the plane is or it maker. I have attached a couple pictures for help verifying its make and model.
Wingspan: ~50 in
other then that i don't have much in it.
What i would like to know:
Recommended Engine Size?
Fuel Tank Size?
and just any other info you may have.
I really appreciate any advice you guys may have. -GlowTrainer

Fuel tank size would be 4-6oz.. if the 6oz will fit I'd go that route.. I built a few of these, as did many many people on these boards.. and they just fly forever.
CG is right on the main wing spar.
The wing on this one is obviously not set up for ailerons.. and actually it looks like it was built correctly as the "non-aileron" wing option called for quite a bit of dihedral.. which your wing has.. and looks correct from my perspective. I probably wouldn't add ailerons to that particular wing.. they would be somewhat inhibited due to the dihedral.. at least a bit...
You just might run across some downloadable plans, as Mr. simmler suggested, do a Google search.. and even try a search on Eaglet 50 plans.. stuff like that.
These are great flying planes.. perfect to learn... and again.. they can be zippy little things with a bit of horsepower under the hood. Good luck with it.
