what do you fly with? i am trying to avoid the loss of contrast, and color due to the big light differentials (ie lose site of the ground when its sunny and blue sky and you are flying straight and level)...

Currently I fly with CX-161's, Gopro live feed out, and aCCDkiller. I've got one of these pixim seawolf's but haven't put it on anything yet.

It's a good camera though, just youtube it:

I fly with the dx201 on my Skywalker. So does Elcheapo and R. Montiel, search any of those videos for quality comparison.

The TBS69 is also a Pixim camera (Seawolf chip), many ppl fly that as well.

I found trappies camera better than 201 rv sells

The pros is just better video and ability to change settings before each flight depending on lighting conditions

Cons are they are larger compared to,small aerodynamic cameras
But way better video

Cons is UHF not friendly , but newer filters are now made that make distance closer than ever before to the UHF rx

Cons evening or night flying is not so great

Security camera 2000 sells pixum for cheap

The RFI of the DX201 as David talked about can be almost eliminated by using a ferrite on the cable placed close to the camera. I've done some tests, see this link. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...&postcount=376

I also found a grounded faraday cage helps lots

Also Thomas UHF rx v6 with newer filters helps.
