MOSFETS usually burn out first, check the tops.

Wow, looks like the beefed up two of the MOSFETS on your version. So there are 5 MOSFETS topside. One has the 7009 sticker on it and if it were burnt, I'd think the sticker would be brown as well. Then you have the vertically mounted ones, which we can't see the tops of the MOSFETS because we're actually looking at their sides. Check the matte black part of those vertically mounted FETS and see if they have any burn marks on them.

You're also sure the water-safety ciruit is intact?

Excuse my English, in Russian this word has double value.
We have an expression:
To stuff on full.
It is most applicable to various equipment, cars.

Hi there,
I'm new to this forum and new to boating.
And from Holland Europe.
I just got one of the double horse 7009 boat to start with,
Than change it in to a brushless boat. But i've got a problem with the boat.
Its not speeding up at all, it will go on full throutle just as fast, read slow, as on half.
Tryed something with the prop but it just wont go. Motor is speeding up, everything seems to work fine.
Anyone with an idea?
Thanks

sounds like it isn't getting up on a plane. try slowly increasing the throttle until the boat starts to skim on top of the water, then go to full power.

I tried building up speed, tried instant full power. Can the prop be to deep in the water? Tried putting battery to the rear. But nothing really helps.
Orderd a new prop, maybe that will help.
It wants to go, when i hold it in the water and give some power i can feel it pulling.
Thanks for your reply!

FYI Banggood now carries replacement parts:

Speed controller\RX module:

Spare batteries:

There's also a new 7010 model out that has the motor and battery positions reversed. I actually recommened the Joysway Magic Vee over this boat as it has a 2.4 Ghz transmitter, but it is a little more expensive (20 bucks).

Amadai, can you post pictures of your setup please?
