If cops should wear body cams, why not legislators?

Why shouldn't we see what goes on?

Both are public employees, and the legislators are, at the core, even more important because they define what the cops are empowered to take action on. At every level, since law rests upon cops at every level.

We keep hearing about campaign 'reform'. How about we skip the 1st amendment destroying, counterproductive 'reform' , and get straight to the heart of the issue. If they can't be trusted, there's no reason to not see every moment. They're our employees and wield immense power over 300,000,000 people.

I can fully get behind that.

The only difference a cop wears it not so much to keep the cop inline but the video supports the cops report on an incident otherwise its I said they said.

A politician it would prevent them lying to us as well as other abuses.

I think its actually the best idea ever. No sarcasm.

That's a great idea, we can all watch them as they piss away all that was worthwhile with this country as they sell themselves to the highest bidder.

Not without heavy controls on guns, knives, clubs, bat, large pans, fingernails, food poison... well, I could go on.

You know, cops might get personal stuff on the camera and having a personal and work camera would be difficult to juggle. How about we let the Cops have their own camera and computer to download the videos to at home. Then they can get rid of the personal stuff and upload the work videos after they leave their job.

Deal?

If that sort of plan is good enough for Hillary, it should be good enough for anyone else.

How about shock collars too? What good is watching them screw us over if we can't take corrective action?

Do you really want to see that? Besides, they can't get their zipper closed around the body cam.
