Stop teasing us!
Where can these be bought, without buying a whole B25 from BH?

Well..... sort of.

I will agree that a big model is different... but even if they only apply a small amount of drag on a heavy model... it's still better than nothing.

I fly turbines, and in the USA, we are required to have brakes... but there is no rules on how well they work, other than "They have hold the model while the turbine is at idle." (AMA requirement)

↑Procurement can take a look at the URL above

Brake controller features explained

Voltage input :7.2V-30V Can tap directly on aircraft batteries Or use an external battery 7.2V-30V

Signal input : Connect remote control receiver, set an action

Capacity control: adjustment clockwise will increase the power
, vice versa.

brake wheel: Connect the power input line on the tire

Taiwan Tornado select rubber of the tire same class with automobile which leads to better improvement on brake wheel tire when landing and better control at the player’s option. Spare tire is optional.

Tom; Thanks first of all.
Questions.Control.
Can the radio position to activate the bakes be adjusted. I mean, do I Y this off say the elevator channel and they activate with only down input or does the controller have to be off a separate channel.
If you know what the usec activation point is please advise?

Would you happen to know if they'll be producing various wheel OD?

I also assume it has no differential control to apply more brake to one side than the other or even counter brake ware imbalance.

Thanks for answering any of these questions.

Cool! Thanks for info Tom. Actually ment bought 2 sets, darn cellphone touch screen. I'll keep an eye out for those new brakes. Wish they could be made bigger and used on warbird taildraggers, but those nose overs wouldn't be good.

One control board for each wheel, connected to a gyro with two input/output channels (ie Futaba GY351), and you may just achieve this.....maybe?

Ya thus my question. But if its programmed non reversible, or the span of usec activation is not adjustable, it may need a reverser in pairs or may need a separate channel. Thus the question about the usec transition point. If they are all programmed the same direction then the controller on one side will need a reverser to work in pairs.

Still steering with command from the TX or even a disconnected gyro, sits at a neutral point which for most devices is 1500 usec, AKA between the +100% vs -100%. Surfaces, Rudder or Elevator, swing from 1500 to 900 or 1500 to 2100 as do gyros. If the preset transition point is say 1000 and below or 2000 and above only, then by Y'ing the RX from a elevator or rudder will always be partially engaging the brakes as you take off.

Thus my next if it has to be off a separate channel and naturally there after all mixing etc is then done on the radio. If he can answer even some of these questions it can tell us if can even be set up on a radio that is already maxed out on channels or mixes.

It obviously has a group of interest. Maybe they will later come out with these features in a future iteration if not in this one.

Anyone have a clue as to what size wheels come with these from amaxrc?
