Nice looking model and good size; but what's the thing with modeling the 2 seaters? Yuk...
Real fighters have one seat (except for the F-4 of course)

Impressive looking, love the colour scheme, what would be AUW with 12S/8000mA ? Just puzzled why it doesn't have intake ducting? Joe.

ive been wanting a full comp mirage for so long its silly. this one is very nice and I'd buy it , looks like it flies heavy for an edf with a pricey tag too. intakes to small for edf? If it were designed for edf and priced around 1250 Id grab it.

It was designed for a turbine, it has flown with one of my Mild 127mm ramtec fans but the fan is only 100A on 12s, much too mild for this model, it comes out around 10kg AUW which is pretty heavy. I am going to sort out one of the new 800 series motors for Ricky to fit into the fan, on 14s with 9-10kg thrust things should be different. My worry is the ducting, or lack of it.

The Mirage designed for 6 kg turbine. The weight for turbine version less than 8 kg. The most weight for EDF came from battery. Dry airframe weight 4.5kg only for a 2.2m airplane is pretty good. You have to request to open the cheater inlet in the bottom for EDF version. The airframe comes with durable landing gear just found from the hard landing of the video.

This is few of the model made with honeycomb core composite material in the market. Landing gear, air brake, all valve and air system well installed in the factory. Except the gear door opening need to be installed.

I still like to know the full weight in your video on 12S and those smaller cap. batteries. It has a huge wing area, so even at 11-12kg the wing loading shouldn't be that high for 2.2m model, IMO. With that open duct the extra air inlets in the fuse shouldn't be any problem to cut out and grill. Can you show some pics of the bottom with the gear? Joe.
BTW, I was flying today again your "MIG-15" with my 12S upgrade, managed the best landing so far in perfect 15km/h head wind. How the hell could I buy that one for $120- and you want $2300- for the Mirage?! I think the half the price would be just about right for Asian made model, J.

super model but seems better suited for true turbine power. Really happy with my HTG L39 and Mig 15. I hope HTG will come up with more 90mm size foam EDF models as they fit my budget better.
How about a twin 90mm foam ME262?
Sorry fire the thread drift...

man that thing looked like a handful

I was just waiting for the crash, I thought forsure this would be one of those videos were the landing wasn't shown..... you know the old excuse my battery died right as I was landing

good on you to show the landing....I can tell by the guy running to hide that he felt about like I did watching that flight

but if that video is to help sell the plane I don't think your doing yourself any favor

looks nice
