Is it better to store lipo in the fridge and is so, should it be done with lipo fully charged?

Yes, storing in cooler conditions of a refrigerator will extend life. Never store lipolys at full charge as doing so will accelerate increase in internal resistance, thus reducing ability to hold voltage under load. Approx. 50% charge state is ideal.

As long as the resting voltage is somewhere around 3.85v you are good. I keep mine where I keep all my rc stuff in thats in my basement RC room where temps are nice 70 or 20c . Never had lipos failed because of storage BUT my storage periord are generaly around 2 to 4 weeks.

The trick is to find an indoor RC that you can use the same packs if you can. Did not find a good indoor crawler that will take a 5S 5000mah 30C pack.
