European Quality

The Zulu is a 1.4M composite flying wing that is crafted with European level quality for the discerning sloper. The design comes from Zach Hoisington and is a great looking wing. The wing itself is 1 piece and vacuum bagged with a blue foam core using carbon/aramid cloth strategically placed for rigidity. The wing tips are carbon and removeable. The fuse is also carbon with a kevlar nose for 2.4 radio systems. It performs well on the slope with medium to heavy winds, but for those without a slope nearby, the kit includes a jig to cut the nose off and allows you to install a brushless motor for flatland flying. The Zulu comes in an ARF with no electronics and a PNF with the servos pre-installed and both versions are available in most warehouses. Check it out at HobbyKing.

Holeeeeeeyy snaps! I thought this would have been expensive at half the listed price.

Carbon bagged 1-piece wing. Carbon and kevlar fuselage.

Price seems about right IMO.

I received mine today. For the price, I'd say it's a decent deal. Elevons are huge. No DS for this one. Looks to be a good light to medium wind bird. I hope to get a chance to fly it this weekend.

Btw. She's much bigger than the pics allude to.

Just bought one and looking forward to giving it a good wringing out. Should penetrate better than my Weasel, Zagi and Flying Wings Spectre

Zach posted the airfoil data in one of the Zulu threads. Opening the threads and using "Thread Tools > show attachments"should locate them quick.
