Well.....I'm headed to the airfield in just a few whiles to try it on mine.

Let us no how it goes... I've been tied up with composite planes. I have to beat the dust off my ff.. I'm considering selling what I have to get a x-plane. I wonder if there would be interest..

I just repainted my rare bear. All these years flying these things and I kept the stock decals on. I couldn't see it very well, so I finally decided to just airbrush it with a high visibility red and white combo. Hopefully this color combo will be much easier to see. The bottom is white with black stripes for contrast, but I didn't take a picture of the bottom.

Just ran up my P51 with the hobbyking red "stock" replacement motor on 4S with a 5.5X6 prop and here's the numbers. 420-432 watts at 35-38 amps, It ran so smooth to, even with the spinner as you see in my pics! So that motor is the real deal. I have not flown it yet but I am waiting on a green light from my Dr. =(

Fire Hawx, thanks for the test numbers. Excellent power from the HK motor. Mine weighs only 59 grams. Hope you get back in shape for flying soon.

After a few good flights yesterday the wind was making it difficult to land carefully. On last touch down the sea fury did a short cartwheel breaking off four inches of right wing tip and seriously cracking the left wing at the same place near the aileron servo....a weak spot that can use some help on this airframe. Re-attached both wings with epoxy and embedded four toothpicks in each joint. Looks good again. My second sea fury now under construction is getting full length CF spars. More great flying weather predicted for the next five days.

Thanks
Hey Scott, I just used Rustoleum fluorescent rattle-can from Lowes on mine and it didn't eat the foam. Did you get it painted yet? Are you coming to eWeek?
