Question
How do you store your planes?

Hi, after the cat incident this morning, I need to figure out another way to store my planes. How do you guys do it? Hang them at the ceilng, on a wall? I just don't want to try something and have the wings bowed or the fuse warped if I do it wrong.

I got $10.00 worth of PVC pipes, "T" connectors, and "L" connectors and built enough hanging racks to hold several planes. Cheap but effective, picked up the idea from a photo of a trailor in S&E Modeler.

String loop around the landing gear and hung on a cuphook on the wall.
Sorry about the cat comment. I just had to stir up the kitty lovers.

I hang them in the garage--I have 3 cats that live there too. If I don't hang em, they don't survive.

I built a rack out of that adjustable shelving. It holds a lot of planes and is very compact.

The lighter ones hang from the ceiling, the heavier either park in "the hangar" (storage room) or find room on the couches, tables, chairs, floors etc (moved as needed). This annoys the wife to no end :/ I'm looking and plotting after seeing your storage ideas

Dining room table...
The cats wouldn't even think of touching the plane...

I ended up building another garage next to my house. Now I have plenty of room for my airplanes. In fact, I still have a lot of empty space to fill up. I think I'll go browse the hobby lobby catalog.
