Great find, with set screws!

Don’t know if they’re still made; but I got both a 10 and 11 tooth pinions (standard 48 pitch) with set screws.

Now I can change from 10 to over 20+ on my MaxCim gearbox and 1/8” shafted motors.

The pinions and from MPI (MP-10 & MP-11) and the packaging is quite old looking.

jrb,

I have some pinions with set screws from MPI, including a 10T. However, they were for a s400 and had holes that were only 2.3mm. Are the holes in the ones you obtained 1/8 inch?

Yes, they fit onto a 1/8" shaft!

Like Endo, and other RC car motors, or Aveox & Hacker BLs.

Yes, that is a great find. Did you get them from a LHS or mail order?

There's plenty of them in 48 pitch, up to 30T, down to 9T, in the car area at your LHS.

genebond,

These has set screws (no need to press them on); I'd never seen any that were smaller than 12 with set screws, nor a 9 tooth.

Can you tell us who makes the 9, 10, and 11 that you are referencing?

I guess I stand corrected. I just did a quick search, and like you said, everyone seems to start at 12.

Somewhere I got 11, 10 & 9 in my pit box, so they're out there.... Or were!
