Mariner - waterproof quadcopter

Hello

I was thinking of purchasing Mariner quadcopter. Does anyone have any experiences with it?

www.andmultirotors.com

Seems like really great thing, i own a phantom but its to flimsy for my liking.
Also it would be great to land on water.

some videos here:
Mariner fun on the beach - FPV version (12 min 55 sec)

Fireworks seen from multirotor - night FPV (4 min 47 sec)

FPVfactory Mariner RTF Waterproof Quadcopter Unbox (11 min 27 sec)

Someone ripped off the aquacopter

I don't like "waterproof" with all those holes. It's just asking for a leak.
I think you will find that it is a very new quad. Would be surprised if anyone had one yet.

All I could find is this....... http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2221219

yea but he set it down nice and easy. Its different to hit the water hard. Water will shoot in those screw holes.

I do like the fact that it is alittle bigger, easier to get electronics in, and has a landing gear though.

all of these. Has more screws than a Blade QX350. That also tells me that it's frame is 2 parts joined together (and able to be seperated). The aquacopter has no holes on bottom, just 4 where each motor mounts. The 2 parts of the frame are glued together very well on the aquacopter.

I have no wories about this...after all it is not a submarine and if isolated properly it will surely be watertight for the use it is meant for.

also seen this - motors and escs waterproofed

edit: probably it has different construction inside to take care of waterproofness...did not see a bad review yet

Anyone has one???

well good luck and keep us posted.
The fact that the esc's are waterproof tell you that water gets inside. remember you receiver and FC are not waterproof.

Blushless motors will work fine underwater without any special coating.
