Did you bypass the red loop on the board? Leaving that alone has

When I had it bypassed, if a motor shorted out, it took the PCB with it.

It's amazing how much magic smoke they put inside those transistor thingies.
Yup, I did that. Motor completely disconnected and it still measures out at 0.7 ohms. There is no red loop on the 9100. That seems to be a design flaw.

Guess I'm stuck with my boring modified S107G for awhile. I have plenty of soldering equipment. I build preamps, amplfiers for musical instruments; another one of my hobbies. At least that sort of pays for it self. lol

Hello and help please

Have 9116 and have it leveled in, tx is set right but when I take off she drifts backwards and triming it does not help. Do I need to tape a nickel to the nose or can I reset something in the tx that will help me.

Used along with thrust vectoring, you could make anything fly well,

Talk about stopping on a dime...

That quad is sick. He was doing forward flips with no loss in altitude.

It also looks like all the blade tips are lit.

check out his youtube channel he has another video (daytime ) with a gopro on it doing flips its amazing

.
In an effort to stop momentary power loss to my 9116 (which turned out to be some sort of radio interference) I bypassed the MOPS. I don't want to pull the pcb out of the heli to undo the bypass. Can I splice a fuse or something into the wire to the main motor to protect the pcb in the event of a motor failure?

I was looking at my 9116 and trying to figure out where there would be room to mount a rx and two esc's. Judging by the size of those components on my Wasp X3V fbl (also a 250 class) and the sideplate configurations on the 9116, I don't see how it could be done. Are there miniature versions that I'm not aware of? I would be happy to be wrong!

Couldn't find any pcb and transmitter. Couldn't even find another 40mhz rx so that left to get another rx/tx in the 49mhz but the cost of that and shipping cost the same as another 9100.

But, I found another rx for the 9104 that would work just fine. Has the bigger mosfets with holes to mount heat sinks.

Tail Motor stops spinning when left rudder is used (Double Horse 9116)

Hey Guys,

I'm a NEWBIE to RC Helis. I purchased a Double Horse 9116 for Christmas. Flown it a few times (lots of crashes but nothing major, except for a burned tail motor) . I replaced the motor with a new tail motor (upgraded). After a few more flights (minor crashes) I noticed that when I would move the rudder to the left I had no control and the tail motor would stop spinning ( It works fine when rudder is to the right and at all stages of the throttle). Any help in what could be the problem and how to fix it would be GREATLY appreciated. I've learned a lot in just the month of reading the threads. Thanks

I am interested in hearing more on this. I also posted a few messages in the last few days. I have a different problem but I bet you it going to be the same components that are dying ( or are dead)
