Pick me a winner

I have a Funkey 600 size AS350, painted all white, with black skids. I have been kicking around the idea of painting the skids white, but I just cant decide if I should or not, acck.

So here's some pics of the real thing...white or black?

My 2 cents is for the black.
The white IMHO is just to much white.

Take care mate.

Howdy! Yeah, black might be best, less paint to chip off, and I think white will make the tubes look bigger (they could be thinner). But the whopping 4 votes I got so far all say white, hmmm. I think I'll leave well enough alone on this for the time being, lol.

I found (but that is a matter of personal opinion), that white parts on a helicopter make it look more " toy-like"...

For some reason, the Vario SkyFox did not look as serious in all white version, and my Heli-Artist fuselages did look less realistic with white coated landing gear as well.

No Idea why, but it looks more "plastic" (as in the man made material, not as in reshapeable).

If the top rail is a full length piece I'd paint them white (easier to see when landing) and use 240-360 grit wet & dry sanding paper as overlays (the footstep?) where you climb into the cabin.

On the ground while folks are looking it over, the (footstep) will look dark grey/blackish and break up the "white" look, along with the grey tops of the blades.

Jmo...
