If i started over I would have gone with this the first time. Its an excellent plane to learn on, and great for fpv. Cheap too!

I already have a plane. It's the sky surfer and that is the exact same shape of it just a different name. Do you know of any cheap helis or quad copters. Also what about the fpv system.

As for a off the shelf system try this link and watch this video:
The real question is what do you want to achieve from UAV/FPV - long range, areial photography, or just fun!
This can be a very specific hobby, hence a specific build may be required once you know what you want to do.
Hope this helps?

Try a :
Rangevideo 1.3ghz 800mw vtx (it comes with a tunned vee antenna) $65
900-1300mhz reciever $40
Gopro as a camera
Maybe and OSD if your budget will allow it $50-$300
Fatshark base edition $250
harier 7inch monitor $50
Although in theory You can get a dirt-cheap fpv setup for $150-200. You'll save much more money in the future (and save your plane ) if you buy a decent setup with a more wider budget.
