HS50 servo failure
Had these installed in my Freeair EPP, P51..
The Aileron servo has slowly lost throw until it finally failed last night .. nothing .. just an occasional glitch like pulse from it..
I had to rip off the wing to remove it from the fuse and cant see anything wrong with the servo itself .. it just stopped working ..
I'll replace with HS55 but wondered if anyone had any ideas as to why it might have failed .. I'm guessing it's a POT gone down as the gears appear to be ok

Sometimes they just die, hopefully while the plane is on the ground. Cheap ones I bin. More expensive ones I send for repair. Hitec is good about repairs.

I've had a few HS-50 and haven't had that great of luck with them, so I switched to the GWS Pico. I've now got well over 50 Picos in use with no problems.
