Trying to ID this OPS Engine Cover Plate ? ?

Hi,

This has been a thorn in my side so-to-speak trying to make an id on this
OPS Engine Part...

I am guessing it is a cover plate of some kind. Unfortunately, there is no visible part #'s or markings on the package or plate.. the cover is 3" in diameter

Any help is apprecaited..

Thank you!

I agree with you, but for a larger OPS engine considering it measures
3" in diameter ?

It appears to be for a rear induction fan or boat engine, it is bored for a rear bearing.
