Actually, just kidding. I think my new one has the new Stab, which has two split Elevators.
If that's the case I'll be using two (2) Hyperion DS13TMB Servos, one per side. http://www.servodatabase.com/servo/hyperion/ds13-tmb |

oh wait, I have seen those before. I wasn't too confident on strength tho. I really do wish there was a "beefier" electric retract kit that fit. It looks like I'll just go with the air. I actually didn't have any issues with it before but it seems electric are more straight forward and less expensive.

I'm going to do a servo plate that will mount inside the airframe and not cut into the horizontal stab. Haven't worked it all out yet, but I'll post pics when I do.
I want something that I can pull out and work on without "Digging out" of the original mounting hole. I also want to be able to change out the tail without removing servos. Should be within a week or two. I just rebuilt nose strut mount and am working on doors and steering now. Pretty easy to make the original mount into one for the 15-25 eflite with existing parts...(That only partially had glue on them.) I'll post some pics of that today.

So I unpacked my plane. Funny from the photos online it looked white with florecent orange but its actually red. Fine by me I really like the color, this is the HV version.
Bill I think there maybe room on the side wall just above the stab to mount the servos on each side. I too want to look closer at this idea. Found a couple things with are little bummers, such is life I guess. The spar in the tail had a big crack in it, I repaired it with some epoxy. The fuse has a little spider crack on the right side just below the tail. And the stab has marks on the finish from the bubble wrap as tho it was wrapped before the paint was cured. |

Check out the servo installation in this post (1st pic) = http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...postcount=1867
I think Ralph hit the nail on the head. I'll be planning to create a hardwood mount that gets glued to the bottom of the Fuselage and install my servos like in the pic. Vic |
