Huh...well that sucks. Do you have a needle applicator that you could put some light oil in, like 3:1? I'm wondering if you drip a bit of oil down the sides of the battery and place it nose down for awhile, then try again with duct tape.

The concern I have is I don't know how lithium batteries respond to oil, but if everything else fails, you may have to try potentially less-safe options, although the oil may NOT be less safe, I just don't have a clue.

If you try it, be sure you don't put oil where the tape will go (duh), and don't hang it in a way that will allow the oil to wick to where the tape will go (double duh).

Perhaps others can chime in on whether this is completely stupid idea or not.

I'm wondering if you could use a heatgun around the area you suspect it's wedged the tightest to sorta get that very hard fuse to loosen it's grip on the lipo. The inside of these fuses are kinda rough in places, so it can grip pretty good. If the edges of the lipo get warm, it should soften up some too.

Re-apply the tape, and heat all the way around....wiggle/pull.....heat...wiggle/pull........ It could take some time.......

Can you squeeze any part of the nose where the battery is? If there is any loose space, squeezing it should loosen the rest of it .....

These fuses are virtually unsqueezable....very hard....not your everyday fuse lay-up

Can you remove the spinner, and motor bolts and give the shaft a push at the same time as a pull on the tape?

Will put your esc in danger depending on where you have it... Last ditch effort

ESC is still connected....I don't think pushing the motor shaft will help at all as this thing is
really really suck in there.

I'm thinking of cutting the vent hole on top a little longer and trying to pry/push battery while pulling. There is no wiggling at all, it simply is not moving at all.

I can see where it actually contoured the fuse into the shape of the lipo.

Last resort is to cut the fuse on one side to give relief and then pull, epoxy fuse back together.

If the lipo was "warm/soft" when happened, getting it, and the fuse, pliable again with heat, just might work. Go slow, and give the heat time to migrate to the interior. At this point it's worth a shot before doing surgery.

What cell and C rating are those Sky Lipos sitting next to it?

Are those the extremely rare 4S 40C?????
