Help!
CNC Foam Cutter

Hello guys,I decided to make a homemade cnc foam cutter but I have some questions about the electronics.
Well, after the construction is made I should connect the motors to a board.
I know that the board is connected to the computer buy the printer plug.
What the board should be and how the motors should be connected to the board?
Where can I buy the board from and is it a special kind of?

You should probably start over in the CAD area http://www.rcgroups.com/cad-cam-660/

or somewhere like www.Instructables.com

or searching Google for "DIY CNC"

Try cnczone.com. They have a nice DIY section and they talk about all aspects of the machine build.

You have a several setup options.

The toe bone is connected to the ankle bone, the ankle bone is connected to the leg bone and so on

Stepper

http://www.omc-stepperonline.com/nem...08s-p-270.html

To a driver

http://www.omc-stepperonline.com/bip...128-p-245.html

to a 3,4,5 axis board

http://www.omc-stepperonline.com/4-a...ing-p-309.html

There are ways to hook things up depending on what you have.

Hello again guys,I bought this kit from eBay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/German-Free-...item233effdfcb
So far I managed to understand some settings of the configuration and the software but still have some things that I don't undestand.
I posted a thread in another forum which is specialised in cnc machines. Here is my thread:
http://www.cnczone.com/forums/steppe...software.html?
Please check it and if it is possible to answer my questions.First check it and tell me your opinion and then i will ask questions.

The electronics are not even from HobbyCNC. I suggest the OP go to the vendor he purchased the setup from for answers to his questions.

Other than the 7 opinions already posted? Do you have any comments regarding how they help you or not? That would help us offer you different suggestions. How are they helpful or not helpful to you?

Well, actually I managed to make all the motors work, with no whizzing. The problem(whizzing) was caused by the velocity, acceleration and steps settings.
Now I can't slave the Y axis with the rest one motor.I slaved the X axis with the A axis.
And I don't understand why the pin settings in the manual are not same as my settings now which work.

all 4 stepper motors should work independently for a foam cuter A/B/X/Y if you slave them it will only copy what the other tower is doing

Shouldn't it be two motors for the X axis and two for the Y axis?
I want to make something like this machine:
