well thats what that switch is supposed to do is turn the flysky module off. ive even tried unpluging the flysky module in the back and binding, but with no luck.

maybe a bad dsm2 module?? i dont know if this helps but while binded to one of my flysky rx i hit the switch for the dsm2 and the flysky plane still worked but it was twitchy. so it almost seams like its not turning off the flysky module completely .

I know it is supposed to do that, but when troubleshooting it is generally best to start off with the smallest number of parts involved.
Only when they are all working you can add complexity
Do you have anything other than the nano to try it on?
Are you getting any indications from the LEDs on the nano that it is seeing the transmitter?
How have you got the mixes set up?
For most of the BNF it should be something like:
ch1 100% THR
ch2 100% AIL
ch3 100% ELE
ch4 100% RUD
with ch2 and ch4 reversed in the limits page.

Was the module working in the tx you took it out of? That would have been the first thing I would have tested.
