and yes, gens ace seems to go out of stock everywhere in waves. Like they don't restock for months or something and then suddenly get everything at once. It's kind of crappy because you basically end up only having money when they are out of stock. At least that is my luck.

I've also been looking at Glacier lipos as an alternative to Gens. A few guys were using them at the Daytona helifly. When i asked they all seemed to compare them to Gens. Price is similar too i suppose.

What was your battery at? 130x can't do that on 2s. Looks like it has good agility.
I set my iKON on 300x to 90 agility and tried this morning. Not used to that fast of a flip

Oh yeah, good flying, don't see how you keep track of it.

My battery after the flight? That is a 460 mAh 3S pack. I don't think i checked after the flight. But it was probably around 3.65 ish volts per cell. I can do 3.5 minutes on the 370mAh pack and it is just about 11.1v. So the 460 should get to 4 minutes maybe more and still be above 11.1. So it probably wasn't too badly drained.

The thing about not being used to a fast flip is you expect to need full stick throw. So you give it the throw your used to and it zips around too fast. With higher agility settings you need to learn to control the flip rate with stick throw instead. It just takes getting used to when your already used to throwing the stick almost to the extreme. Just because it can go super fast doesn't mean you'll always flip that fast. But i'll tell you what. When you get used to it and your mid 3D maneuver and need to bailout to upright real quick or something before you hit the ground. That extra rotation speed can be handy to have there when you need it. .

Yep, thats what I learned this morning. No need to give it full stick. The 450 and 500 are set with a fast roll rate, but not this much.

Great flying integrity. You do use a very fast flip rate! it's time I turn mine up some, I do have the ikon 450 at 90 and 95 % . But my big birds are slower. I had a great day of flying, 3 hours total. Today was more wind fighting . Which has become very fun also. Now that the flying comes more natural I don't have to worry about things like wind. But I also don't push it on days like this. I'm still waiting on new 600 canopy and some mcpxbl parts. Just waiting....

I stayed around home this weekend and flew NAZA 450, 130x, 300x and 450pro.I had one crash with 450pro when inverted 2' off the ground. The pinion gear came loose and could get it flipped back over. First time something like that happened to me. Very little damage, umbrella tail gear and main gear, thats all, no bent shafts or anything. Fixed it and went back out for the last battery.

Sorry for the crash, I didn't think you would get that many flights without a crash. Thats what those little ones do.

I suppose so. I was just hoping at this point the crashing would be more my fault than the helis. Oh well.

So your going to blame the crash on an inanimate object
