What a great kit. Everything was intact, complete and well manufactured. No damage, no 6 week wait, no shonkery.
Thanks heaps Feda, and of course all the Sky Wingers crew who have gone before.
Now where is that thin CA . . . . . .
Just make sure it's foam-safe thin CA if you're going to be applying it to the wings and elevator/stab, rudder/fin. It's a sandwich in there - two layers of thin EPP with EPS in between.

Actually, I'd suggest limiting the use of CA altogether. The flexible foam glues are much better for 3D planes that are expected to "land" a little awkwardly from time to time. Uhu Por, or Welders, or the Japanese 3M glue that BVRC sells, or the HobbyKing "Jia Shui" <sp?> stuff...

The main wing and the ailerons have an EPS core. The tail, rudder, horizontal stabiliser and elevator all have a Depron core.

Actually no real ned for CA for anything other than toughening up the ply structure if that is the way you rock.

Then I use thin and medium CA for ply structure repairs from any 'awkward' landings as H2SO4 says above!

Welders is like UHU Por, solvent based goes on clear contact adhesive. Can't get welders over here and I import my own UHU Por from the UK.

BVRC has some 3M stuff that's supposed to be great as well.

For a while, I could get UHU por over here locally for under $4 a tube with free shipping. Insane. Now it's about $6.50NZD and a couple of tubes with shipping is $20.

Yeah, the same retail thievery is happening over here. It's not hard to find craft and hardware shops that charge ten bucks or more per tube.

Electricwingman.com 4tw, as per Roger's link. The Internet is finally putting an end to Antipodean price gouging

Over here it is classed as hazardous substance and the shipping, even locally, has gone up and hazard stickers are all over the parcel when it arrives. Perhaps I need to open more windows when I use it!

You are right on that gouging Sulfuric, ethics is not a issue when bigger profits call.
While in the adhesive zone, anyone used this stuff?
Sellys Kwik Grip Advanced. It is water based contact glue.
