P.S. TJ 80 1509 2Y with Tam Struts.

My right gear needs a new spring.... ....didn't fully retract.

Nose gear took 15 minutes to fix after landing badly.

Looking forward to more flights this weekend.

This plane is really tough.
Good flying....don't feel bad stressing the springs.
I got bunch of them....
Even I goes through few set of springs now and than. But my wings and retract are safe.

The other advantage to crow and the extra drag created which acts like a speed brake means you will carry a higher power setting on those flat approaches which is nice in case you need to go around and is all the more important for the turbine powered jets.

Ok i cant find a way to add crow to mix it in with flaps and elevator,on my DX8
right now im using for
Mid flaps 11mm
elevator 1mm down,

Full flaps 25mm
2mm down elevator.
Or should i just increase the flaps and elevator settings?
I only used mid flaps to land with no power and it took me forever to get it down, many tries just keeps gliding with no power on,my Habu 32 seems faster landing, then my Pulse 60 when at full bore with the big old scorpion in it>YIKES
Thanks

Is there Flight Mode on DX-8?
If do..set up Flight too.
Assign the Flight Mode to flap switch and had the trim in Flight mode condition.

So each Flight Mode you can trim independing.

As far as I can see the flight mode switch on the DX8 only apllies to helis. I would love to be able to use this for my 32 and can't see why the DX8 won't allow it.

I think Tclaridge is using flightmodes on a DX8. He is not using the flapswitch. And I even think he is using crow when flying without flaps. He has assigned the flightmodeswitch to the flapmix. Maybe you could try: 1 low rates no flap, 2 high rates mid flap and crow, 3 high rates full flap and crow.

Put two more flights on my Habu 32 yesterday, for a total of 3. With the throws dialed in I am very comfortable with it now. I have always thought it seemed faster than what people said on here, and now I know why- I'm attaching my data log which shows 1991 watts, 84 amps. Stock motor / fan with Ice 100 esc. The Align 6s 5200 lipos are awesome, they really deliver. Running a 1100 A123 rx pack, and only using 40mah per flight.

Check out the Castle data log attached-

Hello my friend. I have the same radio you do, and I use that flight mode switch, now don't everyone jump on me cause this is slightly off topic of Habu 32 talk (but I do have one and use this radio on it and I LUV the Habu COME ON 90MM VERSION!!!), on my giant gasser and use the flight mode switch in POS 0 for full throw on every flight control surface, POS 1 for 1/2 throw on all flight control surfaces, and POS 2 for 1/2 throw on all flight control surfaces with a mix of rudder to aileron for coodinated turns. That way you don't have to move 3 switches for each flight control surface. Berry Simple, Berry easy pessy! I use the same switch and do the same with it on the Habu 32

Sorry for the detour on the Habu discussion but found the F-mode secret--you have to enable it in dr/expo. As you were.

How you go to balance it and that is super heavy.

I run 10s 3600mAh is already 8.1 lbs and I kept it very light.
