I have used most levels of HK Turnigy batteries - Turnigy blue, NanoTech, A-Spec. I've also used both the Admiral (Motion) batteries (regular and Pro). Yes, the Admirals are superior to the Turnigy blue and the NanoTech and in some examples, better than the A-Specs. The big difference is the quality control. You can more easily get an A-Spec that is sub-par while the Admirals are way better consistency in the end product. Many of my flying buddies are now sold on Admirals. We have yet to find a single example of an Admiral that is sub-par.
Insofar as NanoTech, they are an inconsistent product with much inferior performance that even a high C Turnigy blue. For high draw needs, I'll go with Admirals. For more mundane use, I'll go with a high C Turnigy blue just to save some money. Of all my batteries in this price range, the Admirals have proven to be the best buy, with performance that doesn't disappoint.
I have found there is absolutely no reason to spend the deplorable big bucks of the Thunder Power or Hyperion.

I have admiral 5300 in my stinger 90. Great battery so far but only like 8 flights or so. However, on my Stinger 64's which run 4s and one runs Don's wicked 4400+ het Fan I run the admirals. I punish them with hundreds of flights and so far, they are all still ticking away. I'd recommend them.

I'm running Zippy Compacts in mine, 5800 40C and 5000 25C. Work excellent and price is awesome.

Sorry, wrong thread. Thought I was on the FWF-16 90mm.

Wow! Big News. Tuned in again. I haven't seen a picture of this bird yet that I don't like.
