which jet?FMS ALPHA or FMS 18

hi all,

i need opinions on these following jets, firstly i have sod all experience with jets but am getting one either way,i am back in to the hobby after a 10year break, just flying newbie planes right now, tecnolagy has came a long way in those ten years let me say that....

anyway,i'm getting a jet and that's it so i don't want to hear lads saying to get something else.

so these are the two jets but the important part is i need a very durable one,the FMS alpha looks awesome and reviews i have seen it looks really tough..

another important thing i want is it to be able to take rough landings on grass etc.

help please!!

the dessalt 4000mirage i decided to forget it as it got some bad reviews.

here are my choices, will have one of them unless somebody tells me a better one in the next two weeks.

many thanks in advance.i really would like help making the right choice here.

this one is my choice so far.

The Famous Models Alpha jet flies with a real locked in feeling, it's confidence inspiring and a real joy to fly. This large airframe and high contrast colour scheme also mean that itís easy to keep full orientation on the model. In addition this makes it a real pleasure to watch as both pilot and spectator.

The plane will perform very graceful loops, rolls, split-ess and high 'G' turnarounds, all without you breaking into sweat, all this on the ready installed 70mm fan and 2200mAh 4 cell battery.

Ground handling is impeccable allowing this aircraft to use both tarmac and grass runways, and due to the light wing loading itís a real pleasure to land.

All round this beautiful model is a great, well behaved, and wonderfully presented EDF that suits budding jet jockies and novices alike.

Speck Check:

Wing Span: 950mm
Length: 1280mm
Weight: 1100g
2.4ghz Radio Syatem included
Brushless Motor and 70mm Fan
50Amp ESC
Servoís 9g x 5
Battery 4cell LiPo 2200mAh

200euros completly RTR.

next one is ;

As a dog fight specialist aircraft this mid-wing twin engine design was extremely agile and nimble, remaining controllable at very high angles of attack.

Famous models have captured the F/A 18 killer looks and outstanding flight characteristics in a complete package. The simplistic build methodology and photographic step by step build guide allow this aircraft to ready to fly way before the included Lipo battery has been fully charged!

The only difficulty...deciding which scheme to choose from the stunning three scale colour schemes.

F-18 Hornet Features:

2.4ghz Radio System
Battery: 3S 11.1V LiPo 1300mAh
Fan: 64mm
Motor: Brushless outrunner
5 x 9g Servos
30 Amp ESC

BIG PRICE differnce, this is 150euros RTR.

thanks
