6S 4000's would be too heavy for this plane. I am using 5S 3850 Thunder Power's and they are lighter than most packs of similar size, and I wouldn't want to go any heavier. As suggested, 3300's would probably be nice...

Anyone got a wing tube laying around? Just wondering if I can get one cheaper than paying full price.

Wow,I've always been under the impression that when you reach flying abilities such as yours, that they furnish parts for you free of charge.

I am in need of a Red Canopy if anyone has one. Mine was obliterated today when my battery pulled away from the frame and ejected during a high speed tumble....

I have checked, and yes, they are ins stock, but if anybody has a good used red, right wing for a 58" and would like to part with it, I would be interested in it... My grandson knocked mine down and stepped on it...

I'm using a futaba 14sg for this plane. Does anybody know what receiver would be good to use? I'm getting this plane next week.

As nobody replied, I just ordered a new one, and have flown the plane since then...

Thanks for asking...

Is it still worth it to buy this plane or should I go with the slick?

From what I have read it is not as floaty as the edge.

I will be picking up a 60 Slick soon so I will be able to tell for sure.

But the red 58 edge is on sale right now and it is a great airframe you really can't go wrong picking one up and flying it until you mess it up or outgrow it and then pick up a slick. Just make sure you use the 6S setup for the 58 edge so you can move the electronics over to the Slick later on.
