Holy!! Guys what happend to the 20lb target!!??

Even at twice the target weight, I bet they still fly great. Once you get them up on the step, all that momentum, low drag and high wing loading should keep them moving.

Just like the real deal though - you'll need to keep the energy up.

Wish I had some vacation time. Would give my left one to see them fly.

Awesome stuff

Isn't it odd that nearly all airplanes sorta pick up weight when exposed to maiden flight readiness status, and then following modifications and improvements? It happens to the very best of us!!!

PS - I am certain more than a few "target weight" statements on "kit" and "ARF" aircraft have been fudged and lied about without shame in the past! I have one RTF jet that you'd have to cut off one of the wing panels and leave the flight battery on the ground to achieve the target weight listed. These guys had the benefit of a flying model and a scale, so I don't hold Andy and Nut to the fire much, they are blazing some serious trail here

They were feed after midnight..........................

Great project I've been following along for some time. You all have convinced me to take on the smaller version under development.
Thanks for the inspiration.

plenty of cuttin back on sleep lol.

got the canopy mounted last night...man, i wish we could have done this as a single piece canopy!!! what a pain!!!!! but its on lol. glued the vertical on last night. i also "potted" in the wing, to make it fit super tight to the fuse. tonight i do the semi final sanding, and the application on a light coat of flat white to give a base for the final paint, as we as to see if i have any more blems i need to work out before paint. decals should be here by the end of the week. i got word from my wife that a "freaking heavy box arrived"....aka....the batteries from andy lol. servos should be in by the end of the week as well. i just got word that i have the monday off before vegas as well, so that will help

i forgot to mention that the main gear doors are on, both outer and inner. also, started nose gear doors, got the little one installed. might have the big one on tonight.

i figured, this model is going to need as much efficientcy as possible, so i need the doors on.
